Mythical Abyss Repress and New Song

Just a couple of things. In addition to the Black Leather And Stainless Steel CS repress I am also repressing the long out of print Mythical Abyss CS in an edition of 40 copies. I have remastered the original 4-track tape and added additional sounds so it's very much a "revisit" as well. Look for those sometime in late March.

I recorded a track in January as well which I have posted below. Channeling a mid/late-80's Industrial vibe with this one. Have a listen:

I'll update when I have more information to share. Thanks!

END OF 2014

Thank you everyone for another year of support. At this point, the music landscape is overloaded. Everyone has a band and everyone in those bands has a side project or 3 so it means a lot to me that you'd spend your time listening to and buying releases by me.

I am now located in Portland, Oregon and am looking forward to playing a lot more shows in 2015. I have a lot of plans for next year so keep checking back for more news.

Before I shut down for 2014 I recorded a couple of songs and put them up on various sites, check them out below.

"Underground Tunnel" is a track I recorded using nothing but the $40-ish dollar synthesizer/rompler E-MU Proteus 1. I'm channeling my inner-Prince of Darkness era Carpenter/Howarth.

"Rouge Main Title" is all Korg Wavestation. I love this synth and would own 100 if I could, with enough space provided, of course.

Coming in 2015 -
Lacerate (Detroit Mix) b/w OB 7"
Black Leather and Stainless Steel CS Repress
Whitest Hunters, Blackest Hearts CS

OUT NOW! Musica Originale 002, Limited to 100 Copies.

Moonlight scatters off the rooftops in the rear view mirror as you change your leather gloves for a new set and push the flat-six hard into the snow-capped mountainside above the ruined town you washed up on all those months ago. ‘Deny everything, do not provoke the true faith, welcome the new world,’ you think as the car races past the blighted villages beneath you, their streets and taverns abandoned forever, all as you’d seen in your visions. You find an abandoned train tunnel from before the war and slip in, attempting to evade your pursuers, the protectors of the man from whom you’d stolen the iron box. Grappling with one of them, you escape into the quickening dawn, threading your way down the opposite slope to a new town as the early morning sun begins to cut across the placid green hills. You slip through a chanting sect and look into the tenebrous flames of their altars, accepting a new life and seeing the possible worlds you left behind in the alpine passes. - Andrew Jackson King, Beta Decay.

Arctic Update

I have been away many months. After my previous update I was called away on business and have been operating out of a research vessel located on the northeast end of Antarctica. Mr. Akers, our crew's captain, had received multiple reports of mysterious activity at the Artigas Base, a Uruguayan research outpost.  The disappearances of 2 of the maintenance crew and a helicopter co-pilot as well as the slaughter of 5 dogs had occurred during the summer months. I had been apart of a small expedition sent out to search for the bodies of the missing crew. While out on one short journey we returned to find all of the crew missing. Strangely, all of their belongings remained except for Akers's research journal. I have translated some of the entries to send your way for additional study.

Tour was fun, thanks everyone.

I still have copies of Black Leather And Stainless Steel and Unused Score... 7"

Also coming up is the BAYERN C34 on Musica Originale -

That was the entry in his journal. I have given this letter to a crewman on the Carnival Cruise Line Ship, QUIT'N'TIME. I must stay here and continue my research. I fear I may never leave these islands again.
